ABOUT DUMONT WALKER
For nearly two decades, Dumont has worked in marketing and communications, helping nonprofits uplift voices and bring communities together. Throughout his career, he has seen firsthand the power of words and embraces his responsibility to use them to educate, empower, and elevate.
Raised in central Virginia, Dumont was brought up by his mother after his father’s passing and surrounded by a loving extended family that emphasized education, service, and community.
Today, Dumont carries the torch first lit by his grandparents more than 70 years ago in rural Virginia—a legacy of courage, conviction, and commitment to others that his parents continued through their own advocacy and leadership. Now, it’s his turn to continue that work and build on their example.
Dumont’s vision begins with a simple truth: every person deserves access to dignified work, access to a quality education, and the ability to feel safe in their community.
My number one priority under the Gold Dome is lowering costs. Georgians are working more and more while earning less and less. I’ll fight for practical solutions to lower everyday costs, make housing more affordable, and help every family in District 46 thrive.
Regardless of your ZIP code, every Georgian deserves access to quality, affordable health care. I’ll cut medical costs, expand coverage to millions of Georgians, and strengthen wraparound services for Georgia families.
Our focus has to be on what really matters - improving literacy, reducing class sizes, fully funding our public schools, and paying our teachers what they deserve. I’ll make sure that our communities and educators are in the driver’s seat when it comes to education in Georgia.
ROOTED IN VALUES, FOCUSED ON PROGRESS.
