Born in Virginia, I was raised by my mother after my father’s death. I was raised by a family that believed deeply in education, faith, and service to others. Those values shaped me in my early life and still guide me today.

I graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I became a standout rugby player. The sport took me around the world and forged the discipline, resilience, and toughness that define my leadership style to this day. After retiring from competition, I transitioned into coaching and mentoring young men and women at the collegiate and professional levels.

After leaving the field, I shifted my focus to a career driven by impact, working as a communications professional helping non-profits share their story and deliver results to communities.
